On the contrary, it gave me that whoa feeling in the pit of my stomach, like a roller coaster. Everyone seems to be doing a good job with unloaded ride these days. First it was only the coilover-equipped Ram that was livable; now it seems that Chevy and Ford do a good job, as well. There was a little wheel hop when on the gas, but I never found it annoyingly bouncy.

The steering wheel was decently weighted, and I was mostly able to keep it between the lines on the expressway. Our tester came in a nice shade of slate gray, and it has a bunch of red accents, which I like. The Roush-like hockey stick graphic on the side might be a little much, but the red in the grille and on the badges is cool. The wheels are a little low-profile for my taste, though after looking at the specs they do have an aspect ratio of 55; I worried about curbing them.

I like about 6 inches of side wall on my pickups, enough to roll over almost anything without worrying about the rims.
